European Country Music Association vyhlásila tento týden nominace na své výroční ceny za rok 2007. Absolutními favority s celkem 8 nominacemi se stali slovenští Veslári alias Peter & The Rowers, kteří nejen, že s přehledem v nominacích vedou, ale dokonce ve dvou kategoriích budou konkurovat sami sobě, protože jejich písně „I’m Leavin'“ a „Blind Horses“ jsou obě nominované na cenu „Píseň roku“ a „Evropská píseň roku“. Veslári mají dále šance získat cenu pro „Umělce roku“, „Skupinu roku“, „Evropského umělce roku“ a „ECMA Hvězda zítřka“. Mezi dalšími nominovanými jsou Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, Tracy Lawrence nebo Sheryl Crow. Ceny budou předány během slavnostního ceremoniálu ve španělském Palafrugell koncem července.
