Hudební vydavatelství Columbia/Legacy vydá 31. května 2005 rozšířenou reedici alba duetů George Jonese z roku 1979 My Very Special Guests. V nové edici bude k původním deseti skladbám přidáno dalších 27 duetů, které legendární countryman nazpíval v 80. a 90. letech minulého století snad s každým od Johnnyho Cashe, přes Patti Page až po Elvise Costella.
Chybět pochopitelně nemohou tradiční Jonesovi partneři – zpěvačka Tammy Wynette („It Sure Was Good“) a přátelé z psaneckého hnutí Johnny Paycheck („Proud Mary“), Willie Nelson („I Gotta Get Drunk“) a Waylon Jennings („Night Life“). George Jones se však nevyhýbal ani spolupráci s lidmi mimo Nashville, jako jsou Elvis Costello („Stranger in the House“), James Taylor („Bartender’s Blues“) a členové skupiny Dr. Hook („I Still Hold Her Body (But I Think I’ve Lost Her Mind)“).
Mezi nově přidanými skladbami nalezneme společné nahrávky s Lorettou Lynn („We Sure Make Good Love“), Buckem Owensem („Love’s Gonna Live Here“) či Ralphem Stanleyem („Wonderful World Outside“). Kromě legendárních jmen tu jsou však i zastoupeny hvězdy moderní country scény, jako Alan Jackson („A Good Year for the Roses“) nebo Vince Gill („The Love Bug“).
Přidány byly i nahrávky s B. B. Kingem a Rayem Charlesem.
