V neděli 7. dubna 2013 byly v nevadském Las Vegas vyhlášeny výsledky 48. ročníku ankety ACM Awards. V roli průvodců slavnostním ceremoniálem se V MGM Grand Garden Aréně představili pánové Blake Shelton a Luke Bryan. Druhý jmenovaný, tedy Luke Bryan, si domů odnesl cenu z nejprestižnější kategorie Umělec roku (Entertainer of the Year). O tomto ocenění rozhodují v hlasování přímo fanoušci a v letošním ročníku jich hlasovalo rekordních jeden milion a sto tisíc! Nejvíce cen v letošním ročníku si na své konto připsala zpěvačka Miranda Lambert, která získala vítězství hned ve třech kategoriích, včetně Zpěvačky roku. Zpěvákem roku se letos stal Jason Aldean a skupinou Little Big Town.
