Dnes, tedy ve čtvrtek 2. října 2003, proběhne v kentuckém Louisville udílení výročních cen Mezinárodní bluegrassové asociace (IBMA). Průvodci slavnostním ceremoniálem budou Alison Krauss a Dan Tyminski. A je to právě tato populární zpěvačka a houslistka, kdo jednoznačně kraluje nominacím letošního ročníku. Alison Krauss získala společně se svojí doprovodnou skupinou Union Station neuvěřitelných 13 nominací, včetně té nejprestižnější – Umělec roku. V těsném závěsu za ní je s 12 nominacemi Del McCoury Band a s menším odstupem ještě Ricky Skaggs se sedmi nominacemi. Novým členem Bluegrassové Dvorany slávy se stane banjista J. D. Crowe.
Na výsledky letošního ročníku IBMA Awards je ještě přeci jen brzy a tak vám alespoň nabízíme možnost nahlédnout do nominační listiny.
