Countryová Amerika se dnes chystá na největší countryovou noc roku. V Nashvillu budou dnes večer ve 20.00 místního času uděleny výroční ceny Country Music Association (CMA). 43. ročník se odehraje pod moderátorskou taktovkou Carrie Underwood a Brada Paisleyho. Těm také bude, podle organizátorů, patřit první píseň celého večera. Během tříhodinové show, která bude živě přenášena televizní společností ABC, vystoupí například Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Billy Currington, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Darius Rucker nebo Jason Aldean.
Jako tradičně, i letos se mohou evropští fanoušci těšit na tradiční sestřih z celého slavnostního galaprogramu. Jako každým rokem jej odvysílá satelitní stanice 3sat, kterou je možno po celé České republice bezplatně přijímat ze satelitního komplexu ASTRA na pozici 19,2 východně. 90 minutový sestřih CMA Awards 2009 bude odvysílán ve středu 9. prosince 2009 od 11.30.
